Oral Benefits of Coconut Oil

Oral Benefits of Coconut Oil

My previous blog on oil pulling recommended using coconut oil.  This post will expound on that a bit.  Coconut oil is very healing, and as mentioned previously, has anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal properties.

Using coconut oil for oil pulling is an excellent choice, working equally well as Sesame or Olive Oil.  I find coconut oil to be incredibly soothing and healing, so find that swishing with it helps mouth traumas to heal quickly.  Remember to swish coconut oil whenever you have canker sores, pizza burns or any other mouth sores, you will be amazed at how quickly they heal.

I keep a jar in the kitchen for dietary uses, and another in the bathroom for medicinal purposes.
