Easy Green Smoothie Recipe

2-3 Cups filtered water
1-2 organic apples
1 organic pear
Juice of 1 lemon
A piece of fresh ginger, peeled
A few kale and cabbage leaves
Any combination of the following greens: spinach, collards, parsley, fresh mint, fresh basil, dandelion greens, chard, or fennel greens.
Chop and core the apples and pear, then blend together with the water, lemon juice, ginger and greens.  Ginger is a great digestion aid, but can be strong and hot, so start small and add to taste.  Adjust the thickness by adding more water if necessary.  Leftover smoothie can be stored in the refrigerator several days.
